John Kox made the following announcement last night on the UK Cobra Club forum:
"The production of the Dax 427 from 427 Motor Company, formerly known as DJ SPORTSCARS INTERNATIONAL has been acquired by me. For over 21-years I do trade as an independent agent in Belgium as DAX BENELUX and sold many cars and kits during this time. DJ aka DAX has been one of the UK’s leading kit car manufacturers for nearly 40-years and this move sparks an exciting new chapter in the marque’s history with plenty of development planned for the DAX Cobra and with well over 3000 kits sold this is good news for existing owners. I have lots of exciting plans and will bring the Coupe project into the DAX range. The location will remain in North Weald Basset and I will begin trading officially from the mid of August. Under the JK Sports Cars banner, although the DAX name will remain part of the operation. A new website is being set up very soon.
From my personal knowledge and experience of the current Dax management and of John himself, this is great news for the product, brand and the many Dax customers across Europe. The product has a dependable, enthusiastic and honest new owner, and I wish John every success with his new venture.
Hi Alan, It is very interesting to hear this news. This maybe explains why I am waiting now more than one month for parts I have bought and payed on Simons e-bay shop. In the past is was working perfect but this time it is a desaster. I wanted to call them but nobody was taking the phone.

Dear Hans,
John Kokx is a very nice person and a honest businessman, so i am pretty sure that orders that were made in the UK, will be followed-up by John, but the change of ownership is set to be completed for half August, so you probably will have to be a bit patient..
