FYI: this post is also posted in WESTern Convoy, by Nigel Brackenbury. But this thread will be specifically for the EASTERN Cobra Convoy, on wednesday 13-09-2023, so we don't mix-up things.
Dear Cobra-Friends!
The ECM 2023 is more than a year away, but it looks like it's already very much alive!
What an excellent initiative Nigel! So much more fun to share a beautiful drive with other Cobristi, like we recently did at the 2022 ECM.
Since we are planning our ca. 500km route to Inzell from our hometown Liberec (ECM 2017) from the very East, we would welcome other Cobristi to join us to drive to Inzell together.
Our plan is to leave early on Early Bird wednesdaymorning (13-09-23) and to drive from our hometown Liberec to Inzell, arriving ca. 15h-16.00h via the following route:
Autobahn: Liberec > Turnov > Praha > Plzen (Pilsen)
turn-off to:
Landstrasse E53 / 27 direction Klatovy > german border > Deggendorf > Landau an der Isar,
turn-off to:
Landstrasse 20 / 304 direction Traunstein > Inzell.
This scenic route will take us through beautiful South Bohemia and the Bayerische Wald.

EARLY BIRDS THAT WANT TO COME ALONG?
Cobristi from the Berlin/Leipzig/Dresden area and Prague area could join us in Prague or Pilsen, Cobristi from the Kassel/Nürnberg/Regensburg area could join us in Deggendorf or Landau an der Isar, to continue together towards Inzell.
We would like to hear from you!
Cheers,

I think I will take the same way, coming from Nürnberg/Regensburg. Would be great to make a convoy.
Cheers

That's Great News Christian!!
We could meet up at Deggendorf or, if it's easier for you, in Landau an der Isar. Also a good place for a coffee&cake stop.
Afterwards we can drive the last part of ca. 150km / 2u. towards Inzell together.
The next day, thursday 14th, the ECM Early Bird program takes us to the magnificent GrossGlockner, so we are very much looking forward to that again! We crossed it the first time in 2009, on our way to the very first ECM in Millstatt.
Happy memories indeed!
Sofar we have a minimal convoy, but i am sure it will grow some more, with Early Bird participants joining us from North/East/Middle Germany and perhaps even from CZ.
Cheers!
