I am planning the route to ECM 2023
Being near Lyon, I plan to cross the alps , then the italian Plain and up through the Dolomites. With a stop in Italie, another in the Dolomites with no Highway....
Any interest?

Christian I just added this important information, thank you. We'll leave probably on monday to be there as an early bird. Or sunday. Depending on the number of nights we come up with. So far we're looking at a 20 hours drive on my first route planned so it can be made in 2 or 3 days...

Here are some news for our french convoy if any one want to join from the south. We are crossing the alps and get in Italy in Montgenevre and Suze, then heading to Come, up north in the mountains for a first stop on tuesday evening in Bormio Day 2 will go up the Stelvio and across near Bolsano then up north direction Innsbruck but we may turn east to stay in the mountains up to Inzell, passing west of Grossglockner mountain (since we'll be on the east side on ECM tour) for an arrival on wednesday.

Complimenti Eric!
that looks like a very nice drive to the ECM. For us it's not so far this time, but we take the Route National in CZ and in D, and avoid the Autobahn also.
