Welcome to the ECC forum, which is restricted to European Cobra Club (ECC) members only. As such, this is your forum, and you are encouraged to freely exchange views and information between yourselves. Likewise, we will use the forum to obtain input and feedback from you, and to keep you up-to-date on news and developments.
Guest access to the board is severely limited, which provides us with a secure way of sharing information with our members. Please do not share or publish this information outside of this forum. This approach should also protect us against the "spam" menace, making maintenance of the board much easier.
Again, as this is a restricted forum, we require all participants to use their real names - after all, we're all good friends here!
We expect the traditional cameraderie of ECM participants to be reflected in all posts. With that in mind, the following rules have been formulated to ensure harmony and the long term good of the forum. Please comply with them, as they are in place to protect both the forum and you, the members.
Rule 1: We encourage you to use English wherever possible to encourage multi-national discussions. If you wish to post in a different language, please use the French, German or Dutch sub-boards to keep things tidy. Each will be moderated by a native language speaker.
Rule 2: If you wouldn't say what you are posting to someone's face, or put it in a letter to them, please don't post it here.
Rule 3: Personal attacks perpetrated by a member against another member will not be tolerated, and will result in disciplinary action and possible banning from the forum.
Rule 4: If you see a post that is inaccurate or offensive, please hit the "Report Post" button which is found in the drop-down menu when you click the round gear symbol on the top-right of any post. This will allow you to leave a message for the Moderators, so that they are alerted to the post and can investigate and delete it. The board also provides a Personal Messaging system, and again should anyone receive an inappropriate message, please use the "Forward" button to bring this to the attention of the Moderators.
