I've owned a DAX Cobra for just over 3 years now. Build by Dave Brooks on a Dedion chassis with 363ci stroker, 450bhp Mike Huddart motor. Most of my enjoyment, to date, has come from organising some local events in the County of Kent.
My first experience of ECM was after meeting Michel and Claudie Mousset prior to the ECM2014 @ St Tropez. I was fortunate to joing Michel and Claudie on a shakedown drive for what would end up as the Sunday tour. Just as well because my car broke down during that ECM and I missed that day of the tour.
ECM2015 is another story.....Car broke down again on the way there. Engine has just been rebuilt by Mike Huddart for fitting next week, so back on the road soon.
I was delighted and a little surprised to be asked to organise ECM2016. Cutting along story short, Alan and I got together to share that joy....!
I'm delighted to be working with Alan on this ECM. His technical skills are awesome - hence this forum which is entirely down to Alan's hard work and technical creativity.
I'm looking forward to my first full ECM, nor because it's in the UK and I'm involved, just in expectation that I can't be that unlucky to break down again!
Looking forward to meeting old friends again and making new ones.

Dear friends David and Alan,
First of all, let me say how pleased me and Yvona are to finally see one of our wishes to become true! An ECM to be held in the Heartland of Replica's: Good Old Blighty!
We are delighted to travel westwards and cross the small stretch of water that lies between our countries, and drive on - yes - the wrong side of the road... For me, it's about the hundred+ time that I go to the UK, but for my darling wife from CZ it will be a first! She is very exited to see and enjoy your lovely country. We planned a 2 week trip around the ECM and will drive through the South, Wales and the Midlands to Norfolk and take the ferry home from Harwich.
Thanks again and we will be happy to attend our 8th ECM together in our trusty Pilgrim.
Roel, Thanks for your comments. We'll do our best to make Yvona feel at home. Last time I saw you was as you disappeared into the rain towards Spain as I was trying to get a recovery truck organised. Look forward to seeing you both again.
