We have just recieved confirmation of our booking from the hotel so we are now 'all systems go' and this post is by way of introduction.
Our car is a Gardner Douglas, Jag based with a 5.7 SBC (carb). I completed it in 2004 and since then, Jo and I have used it mainly for touring, both in the UK and also in the Alpine regions of France, Germany and Austria. It is when you are descending from the top of the Col de Galibier that you hope that you built the braking system correctly! We are also regular supporters of the CRC.
We have not attended an ECM before but Hayling Island is right on our doorstep so it was too good a chance to miss. We may have come across some of the attendees before at events such as the Nurburgring 'Oldtimers' or the Spa Classic.
