Just noticed I have never introduced myself. My name is John and together with my wife Jenny this will be our first ECM. We are both looking forward to what sounds like a great meeting. We live only 50 miles from Hayling Island, and for anybody who has not visited a Warner Leisure hotel we have found them to be first class, with great entertainment - every night - and the food has always been excellent.
We would like to say thank you to Alan and David for all the organising, and we look forward to meeting you all in September.
Great to have you and Jenny on board. With 29 cars and 54 people there will be a lot more Brits at this year's ECM, and like you for most of them it will be their first.
This year's bookings have confirmed that this is an event that, once people have attended, they come back to each year if they can. We're certainly looking forward to being reunited with the many friends we've made at previous events, and to making many more! Hopefully a lot more Brits will get bitten by the ECM bug and venture into Europe to attend future events.
Things have been quiet on here to date, but we now have all but five crews registered on the forum, and as we announce further details of the event and September starts getting nearer the forum should become more active. This will hopefully enable people to get acquainted in advance of the event itself.
All the best,
Alan

Welcome to ECM. Thanks for making the ECM commitment, given that you live so close.
You will find the socialising every bit as enjoyable as the touring. Alan and I have put together a blend of good accommodation & food (as you have confirmed) plus good tours and plenty of visits to iconic, historic venues. This year we have also arranged group lunches, funded by our sponsors, which will give additional opportunities to meet others. See you in September.
